little crabapple faerie graces my mumblings today
because i'm feeling a bit crabby...
not a gratuitous sort of crabby, mind you...
but crabby nonetheless.
hmmm... am i hearing a little lesson in the crabapple tree?
a little bitter fruit and yet a lovely flowering tree...
this is my prayer, then...
LORD, please redeem the bitterness in my life, the bitter hurts in my heart
and the bitter root that has sprung out of those hurts,
and cause a fragrant flowering tree to blossom in me.
LORD, heal my wounds and let Your beauty bloom here instead.
