Bloggin' from Williamsburg and what a delight it is. We are "here and now" at Isabel's insistence. A short walk in any direction reveals evidence of her wrath. They were apparently hard-hit down here, which is how we ended up visiting this particular week. First Isabel chased us out of our Myrtle Beach plans and back to the safety of Virginia; that safety quickly withered at the fierce hand of Isabel and we were pressed to delay our visit. Colonial history prevails in spite of a hurricane, though, and the fortitude of our founding fathers (and mothers :-)) is on display in CW. Huzzah! The weather could not be more perfect. The air is fresh and breezy and the temperature, divine! Our feet feel like hamburger, but our hearts bravely lead on in the path of many a history lover before us! Godspeed!
