Hugs and kisses to one of my favorite peeps... emma Kate the birthday girl! She had a "Strawberry Shortcake" birthday party on Saturday and we visited her again today for some birthday giggles. I love having a 2 yr old in my life. She is full of energy and girlie girl charm and, okay, even a little attitude... but, hey, she's 2... it goes with the territory. :-) Love you, emma Girl!

a day late and a dollar short, but i thought i would mention anyway that jordan and i saw the newsboys on their adoration tour in norfolk last month. the first time i saw them was in 1989 where they played for a local church and not many more than the youth group kids were in attendance. i remember the guys in the band encouraging begging the kids to get on their feet and dance. anyway, they don't have to tell people to get up and move these days. they are such a good time and not just fun, but encouraging and inspiring.

still busy working on getting some nice apps up and running... figured i had to post SOMETHING here. i always tell my kids we had the BEST music in the 70's... proud to be a classic rocker! ;-)
she's finally coming out of hibernation! actually i've been trapped behind the scenes setting up pixelicious over at pixeldiner.net on a new server (and several other domains for my kids, etc.), installing mt and other goodies there, importing my photo blog (grrrr! had a few go-arounds with db tables, replacing paths in all the data to the new location, and other what-nots). after all this i think i deserve a raise! sadly, 20% of nothin' is nothin' (learned that homeschooling my kids LOL) so i guess i'll continue gratis... whatever... it keeps the gray matter snapping so i can't complain. ;-)
the good news (for me, at least) is that i'm done with the first phase of setting up here and can finally get back to blogging! huzzah!
