~ starbucks has relieved me of so much cash that they know where i live. they showed their appreciation by sending me a little gift... a pewter starbucks "siren" keyring. i feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
~ another freebie in the mailbox... a cd from tim janis, composer and flutist. beautiful music! you can check out his work at timjanis.com.

~ spencer has nearly completed her ensemble for 1771-1774 interpreting. i'm so proud of her sewing accomplishments as well as her progress in 18th century verbiage, deportment and persona development (as a milliner's apprentice).
~ jordan is really coming along with her 18th century studies, too, and i am equally proud of her. jordan has chosen her persona to be an apothecary's apprentice so she is learning about herbal medicine and other 18th century treatments and remedies.
~ a slacker to the core, the girls have left me in their dust. my studies (18C culture, 1771-1774 "current events", family life, midwifery, etc) and acquisition of 18th century appropriate communication skills is lagging far behind theirs. it is a fascinating pursuit, nonetheless, and i am trying to squeeze in my new reading list whenever i can.
~ more later :-)
