My family blessed my socks off on Mother's Day. Just to be loved is enough, but I enjoyed the icing on the cake, too. :-)
Ashe and Aaron gave me the funniest (and most appropriate!) gift of an Affirmation Ball to help me "think happy thoughts" about myself. With "20 inspirational and uplifting" messages, I might actually begin to believe them. ;-) They also gave me Dave Matthews' solo CD and a surprise BONUS gift from Aaron, a Tomb Raider game (yep, i'm a "Lara wannabe"). Hugging and smooching grandbabies was even better than gifts (though I'm still quite happy with the latter!).
Spencer and Jordan gave me a FMEO gift of a Love Actually DVD and two pretty red roses. Billy blessed me with very lovely silver hoop earrings with a blue cloissone design at the bottom of the hoops. PRETTY! and just my style. AND he made a very tasty dinner of steamed shrimp and burgers and more. Yum!
