Severus Snape... always and forever. :-)

If it was as good as I remember it, I would love to see Frusen Gladje at stores again. Frusen Gladje was a premium ice cream sold in pints and meant to give Haagen Daas a run for its money. Frusen Gladje was very yummy and quite addictive. ;-) The last time I remember eating it was when I was expecting my middle child. (and she just started college... it's been a while!)
For those of you who aren't old enough to remember Frusen Gladje, just ask your mom... she'll remember. ;-)
Socializing. My next favorite subject was probably history. History is still one of my favorite subjects and as a homeschooling mom I get to regularly indulge myself in the name of educating my children. ;-) AND it's the reason I play dress-up and volunteer as a first-person interpreter at local historic sites. I want to share my passion with others, especially to ignite the flame of a love for history in younger generations. I like to show people that historic figures were ultimately folks just like us, petticoats and breeches notwithstanding. ;-)
I am retiring my old domain and sailing on to bluer skies... or perhaps a darker roast. And that's all I'm gonna say about that.
Homemade or store-bought?
Aaaah... the best part of waking up is a quad shot latte that I make at home every day. I buy only 1/2 pound of espresso beans at a time so they are always as fresh as possible. I enjoy my morning espresso experience so much that I often go to bed thinking of how I can't wait to wake up in the morning and have another yummy espresso. I'm a terminal dork, I know. But I do love my espresso!!

I remember seeing Mary Poppins when I was about 5. It was playing at the theater on the Army base where my dad was stationed (and we lived) and I remember my mom paying 25 cents for my ticket. (crazy, huh?) I remember how the theater looked on the outside and I remember watching the movie for the first time... it was so awesome!! Having raised three girls in the video age, I have since watched it a hundred times, but I still remember with fondness that very first time. I know I'm a dork, but it still makes me giddy. Mary Poppins still reigns as one of my favorite childhood movies. Chim chim-in-ey, chim chim-in-ey, chim chim cher-ee... a sweep is as lucky, as lucky can be...
No, I have no ink. I like the idea of a tattoo. Celtic knots or something. In a perfect world, I'd go for it. But reality... well, let's just say the world is a better place with a tattoo-free me. ;-)
A few reasons I am not yet (or may never get) inked are related to:
- sucky art (I'm a complete snob and if I ever found a quality artist who's work met with my approval, I could never afford her or him)
- tattoo ink is just not very colorfast, thus degrades a tattoo to sucky colors
- there's no nice way to say it... I'm 40-something, amply overweight and stretched out everywhere... anything that can sag is heading south... nobody thinks of how their tattoos will look when they're reshaped by the aging process (and too many pumpkin scones)... bleh... it's just not right, ya know? :-)
