If you could make a magic wish for a futuristic gadget or high-tech innovation, what would your item do?
My first thought was to make a knowledge-downloading gizmo like Neo used in The Matrix. But then I thought that bypassing the character-building aspect of acquiring knowledge isn't necessarily a good thing. So maybe not.
A gadget I have wished for many times when I have been startled out of a sound sleep in the wee hours, though, is a remote controlled tazer that I could use to zap those annoying @$$#073$ that come through my neighborhood at 5 AM blasting their horns to alert their day-worker riders that they are waiting. Why can't they just walk to the door and knock like civilized folks? If only. {sigh} This is just my evil twin talking, BTW. She's all talk and no action... really. ;-)
