QotD: My Dream Room

In your ultimate dream house, what does your favorite room look like?

I refuse to have favorite anything. In fact, I just came home from the library last night with two books for people who "suffer" from wildly passionate and diverse interests... Refuse to Choose!: Use All of Your Interests, Passions, and Hobbies to Create the Life and Career of Your Dreams ~and~ The Renaissance Soul: Life Design for People with Too Many Passions to Pick Just One. BUT, I digress!

I do, indeed, have an ultimate dream house and in it I have several "favorite"; rooms. The one I have most formed in my head and "on paper" is the family room. I want a room that looks like a Blues club... I want the walls painted deep red... dark leather seating... a fat Marshall stack in the corner and guitars hung all over the place. A couple years ago I played with the idea in Photoshop and came up with this (lame, but you get the idea) rendering. Oh, and that's my (fantasy!) Gretsch White Falcon and Fender ™57 Twin amp sitting up against the wall No, I don't play, but if I had that Gretsch I'd learn in a heartbeat. :-)

QotD: First Signs O' Spring

What, to you, is the first sign of spring? Have you seen it yet?

Chickweed! Ground Ivy! Daffodils!

I was so happy to spot them them last week and then they were promptly snuffed out by two days of flooding, freezing and snow. {sigh}

QotD: Chores

Which household chores do you least enjoy?

Hmmm.... that would have to be the ones which require work. ;-)
